Ahlgrimm, a dual citizen of the United States and India, arranged for millions of tablets to be manufactured in India and imported into the United States. She then instructed the operator of the Internet pharmacy to divide the payment between the two accounts. The manufacturer then shipped the products to Ahlgrimm’s U.S. customer. The fake drugs were delivered to Ahlgrimm’s clients. Eventually, the fraud ended up costing the taxpayers millions of dollars.
In addition to her work in healthcare, Marla Ahlgrimm has made significant contributions to the lives of millions of women through her business. During her tenure at Madison Pharmacy Associates, she developed a wide range of natural products for women who suffer from premenstrual syndrome. She even pioneered the concept of hormone replacement therapy in the U.S. marketplace. And she continues to emphasize the importance of a healthy lifestyle and an all-inclusive approach to health.
The importance of sleep is often underestimated. It’s crucial for a woman to have enough sleep to maintain a healthy lifestyle, but most women don’t get enough sleep. While some women can get by with seven to eight hours of sleep per night, others may need more, as is the case for pregnant women recovering from an injury. In these cases, Marla Ahlgrimm provides the answers and comfort women need.
